HOW DO YOU MAKE YOUR CUSTOMERS FEEL?
Yesterday, I visited my wonderful friends at CHANEL.
Ever since I transitioned, Chanel has been super important to me; I had my very first makeover at Chanel on my 60th birthday, 5 years ago, & have come back to her over & again ever since.
Coco’s creations & vision has revolutionised women’s fashion over the last hundred years.
As an enduring icon of style, not only has her legacy continued to inspire and shape contemporary fashion, but her influence has extended beyond clothing to the role of women in society and women’s empowerment generally.
Her innovations, such as the little black dress redefined modern femininity, independence, and freedom for women, values that resonate with me strongly in my own journey, as in my speaking, writing, & pursuit of authenticity for everyone.
Yesterday, in tribute, in one of my own little black dresses, I visited Chanel on Avenue Montaigne Paris where I was treated to such a wonderful welcome.
I walked in the door to be greeted by maybe eight or 10 staff, all in black. Maybe one might feel a bit intimidated, but not me - I simply said bonjour & knew I belonged.
I am as chatty in French as I am in English & soon I was friends with everyone.
I tried on clothes, shoes, bags and perfume, and could easily have left $20,000 lighter no problem at all.
But I will save that for my next visit, and for now celebrate just how far I have come in 5 years, & warmly remember my visit to Chanel on Avenue Montaigne & especially - how they made me feel.
Love Bobbi ❤️
