BARRED!!
EXPELLED!!
Which word ?
The word “HARD”!!
For evermore, I am BANISHING the word “HARD” from my vocabulary !!
Why?
Because when I go there, use that language, dive into that state when all the world’s on my shoulders, when I’m feeling the burden of it all – I know I'm giving away my power. It gives me an out, an excuse.
It’s not me - it’s the THING that’s to blame !!
Saying “it’s hard” puts me in a low energy state, a ‘poor me” state, a “woe is me” state.
And when you’re in that state, you’re just not resourceful, creative, able to see all the options, attract what you want into your life, or serve those who need you to show up.
But when you’re in a state of resourcefulness, lit-upped-ness, & you’re in that state IRRESPECTIVE of ALL THE THINGS, when you’re empowered, that’s when you're at your best.
I know, we all have challenges. Life has its challenges. Including me - of course.
Many times I have said to myself, out loud or in my head “oh this is so hard” & straightaway I can feel it in my physiology, in my shoulders & posture. In my emotional state.
But I am resourceful. YOU are resourceful. We have options, choices, including the choice about how to respond, how to show up, the action we take.
We can choose to let “all the things”, & “isn’t life so hard” weigh us down. We can choose to join the “woe is me” club. Or we can choose to simply recognize that life is challenging, matter of fact, find our best selves, our lit-up wonderful resourceful selves that really is our truth, move forward, & make the stuff happen that we were born to do !!!
It’s a choice.
So I’m choosing to banish that word because it doesn’t serve me, my audience, or my clients, any longer.
